Posted in the gunsmithing section but no luck. Rau wildcat .22

it’s old and had some rust. Definitely wasn’t cleaned before being put away years ago. Everything moves freely but I’d like to remove the bolt and clean then durablue and reassemble. Can’t get the cocking knob off. It felt like it would move a 1/4 turn but didn’t feel threaded in that motion. Anyone got an idea? Attached the only diagram I’ve found. Close but different.

Try this
Swing it open, Take a pick or a small screwdriver and push in on the firing pin while pulling out on the cocking knob.
Or Try to pull the main spring back without the cocking knob moving, Then pull the knob out
