Brake rotor opinions

I’m doing brakes on my 2006 Camry.

I usually do rotors at this mileage.

And I usually do OEM.

I got me OEM pads and shims ready.

But none of the dealers have rotors in stock right now. (And Dam they are pricey)

I’m wondering what y’all think of aftermarket rotors for something like this.

I’d like to find out what brands are truly as good as (or better than) OEM for Toyota .

I always go with OEM on my Toyota's too. I use Duralast Gold parts from Auto Zone on my other vehicles. They have a good warranty and I have yet to have any problems with that brand over the years. We put some rotors on my sons truck and they were good quality and a 3 year warranty.

Get some drilled and slotted ones for the Camry!

NAPA has a high end line that I think equals OEM.

I always use OEM pads on my vehicles as well, and use aftermarket rotors. I have not had issues with aftermarket rotors, but have have heard from my friend that owns a shop they occasionally are not machined true but I have not had that issue.

Check rockauto.com. Sometimes they carry OEM suppliers.

ADVICS brand on Rock Auto is probably the closest you're going to find. Part of the Aisin brand which coincidentally is 30% owned by Toyota.

I had a similar issue with my tundra, would have been 400 for new oem pads and rotors, I saved $40 and bought a ebc pad and rotor package for 360 shipped. Installed Saturday, exceeds expectations so far
