He is he is going over the problem with the customer service agent at Rainier Arms. The agent agrees it's definitely not up to their standards as far as accuracy. The agent is taking the situation to their head gunsmith to figure out the problem. They're doing everything they can to try to rectify the problem and he's expecting a call back from Rainier Arms today. I've already went over all the possibilities with him that there could be but he's just getting a bad Barrel. I've never gotten a bad barrel for them and all the barrels I've gotten them shoot around half MOA or better. I've ordered three in the last 2 years and every one of them shoots bullet in bullet hole hits. I also put together a 6 mm Arc for a buddy mine up here and his shoots the same way. One ragged hole three shot groups. Rainier Arms uses Shilen blanks so the potential is there it's just something is wrong with that barrel. He's tried 10 different ammos and only one seems to shoot well and that's just not indicative of Rainier Arms Ultra Match barrels for sure. They'll get it straightened out.greg vess tell Alex what the problem is here.
No, the manufacturer just said clean the barrel and go shoot it. Clean again after 100 rounds.Nothing looks out of place to me. When you first shot it did you do the “break in” method of fire/wipe/fire wipe etc and all that?
AgreedThat is overplayed. Especially on quality barrels
I will agree their customer service has been phenomenal this far!He is he is going over the problem with the customer service agent at Rainier Arms. After I saw the first range Day report I actually sent a email to Rainier Arms that he was not happy with the outcome. They took the time and actually reached out to him first. So customer service is really going above and beyond trying to take care of him..
Well, they know you know vess. They’re gonna do wtf you tell em to do or else.I will agree their customer service has been phenomenal this far!
I don't order anyone to do anything. I recommend or suggest things to try in an effort to eliminate certain problems areas. I have had my share of problems with new builds so I had some experience with certain problems. The AR-15 platform is a very easy platform to diagnose. There just isn't that much to try. It's not like a car where literally a 1000 things could potentially cause a problem or exacerbate one. The AR-15 is just a simple machine. A very simple machine!Well, they know you know vess. They’re gonna do wtf you tell em to do or else.
