Put together this Sten Mk 3 from a parts kits.
It was a pretty easy project, picked up the tube from Sten Parts which already had the outlines traced.
So far it shoots well, had some minor ejection issues but those were solved with a new extractor spring.
Last step remaining is to clean up some of the welds and refinish it. I used a MIG welder for this project, but I think I will be picking up a TIG welder soon.
The “proper” way to build one is to rivet the front/rear trunnion in, but I decided to use screws so that I could remove the barrel and swap to a threaded one for a silencer once it arrives.
