called the probate court, got the info, but the charges are 30 dollars cash to the probate court and a cashiers check for 49.25 cents made out to the fulton county police

i thought the charges for a renewal were cheaper now? im betting the probate court did not update their auto-phone message.

That's about what it is here in Henry county, don't remember exactly but like 76.50 or some odd number.
its for 5 years of course, and No fingerprints on the permit, its now got your picture, which to me makes a lot more sense , well I know that I didn't look anything like my fingerprint?
anyway its a more official looking document, more like a Drivers license.
still cheap insurance regardless of the price.

Sounds about right. I got mine earlier this year, it only took like 45 days or so.
