Cat stuck 60ft up a tree in the SE L'ville area

Are there any expert tree climber out there in ODT land that help us out.
this is not a joke and we don't need comments from the cheap seats crowd.

We have been asked to help rescue a cat stuck up a tree. The tree is not where a cherry picker can get to so either we coax it down with food which BTW hasn't worked or we climb the tree and get him. He is about 60 ft up.

I don't have spikes and I do not consider myself to be avid tree climber,which is why I am asking for asst.
I am not asking for a hand out, I know this can be danagerous , if you are one of those with this skill set and can help maybe you can give this family a break.

Any logical suggestion are appreciated

Not trying to be a wise guy(but I could real easy) I would try a garden hose to encourage kitty to move on out. Again not trying to be mean or funny but a stream of water might help the cat decide to leave the tree.

out of actual experiance with something like this, you will have to have someone climb the tree with a cat carrier cage, put kitty in cage and lower it down. Really the only way and requires some work getting them in a cage that high up but way easier than trying to climb down with em.

We had a cat go six days once before he decided that he was hungry enough!

Just surround the base of the tree with open tuna cans and the aroma will coax it down!
