Cheapo Scope Recommendation?

I'm shopping for an inexpensive but quality scope to mount on an H&R Ultra Hunter 25-06. Preferably up to 12 or 16x maximum magnification. Two I've seen that are fairly cheap but also surprisingly clear are the Simmons 44 Mag and the Tasco World Class. Any others I ought to consider? Both of these scopes can be had under $100, which is about as much as I'd want to invest in glass for this rifle.

I have this exact rifle, if I can see it, I can shoot it, go ahead and save a few more pennies and get a Nikon 3x9x40, you will not regret it, saw some at Alexanders for 149.00 but this is after deer season so you better grab one. Good shooting, you will love that rifle.

Give the vortex crossfire a look, its theyre entry level i think youd be pleased long term

For sub-100, the Centerpoint 4-16x sold at Wally World is a good option. Plus if you don't like it, returns are easy.

The Midway exclusive 6.5X20 Simmons are big and heavy, but otherwise very decent scopes.

They run them on sale for a bit over $100.00. They offer the same scope with a mildot reticle for $25.00 or $30.00 more.

I just took one of those off of my 10/22 and replaced it with a Nikon. J you can have it if you want it. It works good. I just don't plan on using it again.

There are no bargains in optics, but for ultra low end I'd go with the Simmons.
