Chime in! If you had $1000.00 or so which .45 ACP semi auto would you buy?

Are you going to be "shootin'" or "showin"? Glock 30 for "shootin" and I suppose a gussied up Kimber if you are "showin".

I like to shoot my "shower". I have several shooters so I'm looking for something a little showy to impress all the range trollops with on ladies night.

HK Compact 45.

Hands-down my first choice, but good luck finding magzines for it. If I'm looking for something I can currently get extra magazines for it would either be a S&W 1911 E-series or a M&P45c.

Im not sure I can find any for what I'm looking for right now. I'm kind of leaning towards a SIG Extreme P220 with SRT. I like that trigger.

I really like the CZ 97. They're a little less common and should make a pretty good impression on others on range night.

I love my Colt Commander. Small enough that it can be concealed, big enough that it's nice at the range. And it scores high in the cool factor - I think so anyway.

The last two I bought were a second Glock 30SF and a Ruger SR1911. They're both .45's that do what they do great, that's where the similarities end.

If I just had to spend $1K on one, it'd likely be another Smith & Wesson 1911.
