Didn't know if this price was good compared to several of the great gun shops up north but picked one up this morning anyways.
Our store had at least 6 of them and I picked the one with the best looking grips, which isn't saying much because they'll be replaced anyways.

Tried to buy one tonight. First they refused to remove the trigger lock. Finally got the lock off then was told no dry firing. Company policy. I'll take my money to my LGS thank you very much. Academy has now joined the list of places that will never see a dime from me.

That is a heck of a good deal on a 1911.

Especially with it being a 9mm with milled Novak style sights, LW trigger, beaver tail, extended ambi-safety, checkered back strap and with 2 magazines.
