Considering my first tactical knife. What should I get? and other questions

I was in the same boat Nate . I had a $250 limit and wanted a new edc knife since I only had Case, Kershaw and cheaper as carries.
I ended up getting a $40 SOG on clearance for $19.99 and bought another 10/22 with the left over.

Yea thats been my thoughts in the past. Time to buy (then probably lose) a nice blade

I like MT.... but there are a lot of great knifes out there.

I carry a Spyderco Paramilitary 2 with G-10 handle and plain blade. To be as fast as a normal flipper, you'd need to practice a lot. But, I'm very happy with the knife.

I also picked up a Spyderco Street Bowie recently. Awesome blade. I've got six ESEE's and a couple of Benchmade's. But my Spyderco Paramilitary 2 is my go to EDC.
