Cool stuff for my son and daughter

I have a son (6) daughter (4) I’m trying to do some fun (non traumatic) prepping/self sustaining activities anyone got any ideas? We’ve done seed germination and trapping crawdads, I got a buddy who is into mycology and I plan to take them fishing soon. I’m sure im missing something they’ve been extensively taught firearm safety but do not have access to firearms. Rather not teach my boy how to start fires yet lol.

I had to turn on Spotify kids because they’ve already been listening to too much Gucci mane. Lolol just kidding yeah when my son was 3 we’d catch possums and raccoons but I had to get rid of my live animal trap in the move definitely something I forgot about

We’ve got some property in Jasper and ellijay plan to do that soon aswell this is them climbing apple trees up there (usually wouldn’t post them on places full of strangers but I have a lot of trust in this community. Also pretty well armed.) so they love nature and will eat raw fruit I think it’d be a great time.
