OK, let's ignore the fact that "gumbo" is supposed to be tomato based, and not a roux...but I always thought all those swamp folk didn't put no shrumps in they gumbeaux. I assume I am wrong since the package clearly shows shrimp and the word "Louisiana."If you haven't tried the Louisiana Gumbo mix you should. You can use whatever meat of seafood you like. Add whatever veggies you like. I use a veggies seasoning mix along with some okra. Chicken, sausage, and shrimp for the protein. It's good stuff. You can also use it with nothing added as a gravy to put over rice. It's especially good on dirty rice.View attachment 9384707
