Deer or large cat?

Alright never mind, I see the face in the better pic. You have a large coyote on your hands. Still a weird body profile.

Never seen a coyote with a slick tail. Coyotes have bushy tails. The later pictures do look more canine but nothing like a coyote. Maybe a coydog of some kind. Fur is all wrong for a pure coyote.

Me neither, that's why I thought it was a stick or shadow in the OPs pic. But the higher resolution pics make pretty clear it's a coyote to me.

A canine of some sort. Coyotes have been known to breed with dogs. I think that may be what we have here. Some kind of cross-breed or otherwise feral dog.

I’m thinking some mix canine the more I stare at it.

Ain’t no big cats in ga.. that’s what DNR told that guy in coweta or meriwether county.. then he killed it and they fined him for it.. I may have my county mixed up but it was in that area either way

No fur at all though. Fairly slick like a short haired breed. Mange would be patchy and red with sores.

Again for sure a Coyote. Transition from winter coat to summer coat. I see this all the time in spring and fall.
