The real head scratchers to me are the 45 long colt and the 30-30. And .410.

Sounds like some govt bureaucrat is beefing up their own private stash. I can't think of anything they would be doing with that much 30-30..... Some kind of cowboy action shooting going on?

(The silly crap we pay for. Just because we have no other choice.)

I would guess that too, but why wouldn't they buy more common calibers-like 9mm or 45ACP?
