Two Gas stations that I stopped at last night didn't have gas.

Had to replace a water pump on one of my vehicles today.

Bought a couple gallons of concentrated coolant at walmart, planning to mix it myself (no premixed on the shelf anyway...). Went over to the water aisle. No distilled water...

Thought oh well, stopped by the dollar general on the way home. Again, no distilled water. Drove past my home to the DG just north of us. No distilled water.

Wound up driving back to town to the auto store to buy premixed (they didn't have a lot on the shelf...) Total waste of time driving.

Got the car running again and just sat down and typed in distilled water shortage into google. Good grief there are pages of the topic. What's going on?

Deionized water is a good substitute... I started using it in my CPAP several months ago when distilled disappeared. Publix sells it.

I could only find distilled water at Kroger. Publix said all the distilled water is going to hospitals.

Now I use distilled water for mixing antifreeze but I also spent 20 years filling up radiators from a garden hose. Never had any problems either way.

Same. I’ve never used distilled water for that. Always got 50:50 or just used a hose. Didn’t realize this was a thing

I needed some for golf cart batteries, ended up using purified water. ( Better than no water at all)
Car radiators are pretty much disposable anymore. You can flush them and take care of them then the plastic cracks and they're done.

I use it in my Cpap. I found a bunch at Walgreens. No one else had any on the shelf.

I had new engine put in my FJ this summer, they had a hard time finding distilled water. So its been scarce for 6 months at least.

The recycling Cesspool are at peak levels so that cut the good water so it will drink the **** water
