Does this look safe?

Ive never owned a DB9....does yours look like this? I'm not habituated to seeing brass on an auto pistol when the slide is in battery.

Wow... I hope that's the rim and not the side wall of the case.

Never had a DB, but considered it a time or two. Thankfully I've got a G26 that's talked me out of the diamond back a time or two.

It is the rim...still though....it's, -uh- different to see brass like that, no?

My XD you can see brass on top. Its just an indicator to know if a round is chambered

Nope, not safe at all. I will be happy to dispose of it for ya.

Sometimes it's designed that way, in lieu of a loaded chamber indicator. I can't speak for sure on the Diamondback pistols, though.
