I always offer to pay if I'm using someone else's stuff but I've learned that this is not common practice. It sucks but if you expect someone to pitch in you need to make it known up front.

I don't mind treating anybody at least one time...

But I believe if you want someone to kick in you gotta communicate...

Someone I don't know that well or someone younger possibly, but but by the time you hit 45-55 years old you should have some sense of man code and what is cool. Just sayin'... But it's all good...

I won't be sayin' "Hey lets go to the range"... If he wants to go again I'll be busy unless he mentions footing the bill or throwing ammo in on the deal...
