Anybody remember the coffee cup or can of bacon grease on the back of the stove. It never went bad and you never got to the bottom of it.

Good item we had to eat in the fifties was a
cake with raisins and white icing mom got
from A&P store. It was either 29 or 49 cents.

Still have a small jar with saved bacon grease
by the stove.

Maxwell House can for us. All the grease went into it.
