I have a friend here in Johns Creek that has at least one emu - I'm checking with them to see if they want another. Very responsible people and close by.

I do still have him, if theres a great place for him with friends and a forever home pm me, if not i dont mind keeping him i just think he could have a better time somewere else. I guess i love the big guy lol

We had a neighbor that moved years ago and just released their three emus. For years I would be back on our property and just see that long neck and head pop up and look at me and take off running. Almost hit one running across the road at night about two years ago. Haven't seen them since then, surprised me how long they lived out in the woods on their own.
On a serious note have you looked into any of the Emu oil places in Georgia. Met some people at the Georgia fair and they seemed really nice and seemed like they really took good care of their emus, nit sure how they get the oil but it obviously doesn't kill them.
Idk about Emu oil and I'm not gonna google it either....I've learned that lesson before!
