Eo Tech Mount Suggestions

I finally bought a EO Tech 552 for my AR 10. I want to add a 3x magnifier in the future. So what is the preferred mount location? How much of a gap between the scope and mag should I leave?

I didn't think of it, but a friend of mine pointed out he has a NV Monocular he mounts behind his sometimes.....

A quick release?? I understand this if I was putting my scope on other rifles.... but if you move forward or backwards, you would need to re-sight it?

Doesn't matter how far or close. As long as its a clear vision on the 3x mag and you can still access your holographic buttons and such. My XPS2-2 has the adjustment buttons on the side so I can keep it REAL CLOSE!
