Etowah River near Ball Ground.

Is anyone familiar with fishing the Etowah River in or near McGraw Ford WMA?

Don't think theirs any trout that far south. I catch striper..Bass..crappie. I usually put my boat in at McGraw ford and float down to gober

Have you ever fished up the Sharp Mountain Creek where it lets into the Etowah just north of Gober? I own some frontage there and have no idea what is in there.

Hey Bear44 , if you go one weekend and want some company let me know. I have fished below the dam all the way to Rome where it joins the Coosa, but never the top end.
