I'd like to see more ordinary bolt action hunting rifles come in wood-looking synthetic stocks.
With today's technology, they can make them very realistic (consider all the "engineered" fake hardwood floors).
It's not like linoleum flooring or wallpaper for the walls. New technology would allow synthetic stocks that look like real wood, but without the moisture-retention and easy scratching that makes real wood problematic for a working gun.

The wood is one of the reasons I prefer the Ak over the AR.... Love the wood..
