EV's are NOT America's future!

I think America should initiate a nationwide (California excluded) Cash for EV Clunkers program, and put an end to the madness. Ship every EV clunker to California. Force California to deal with them on their own and without any federal government assistance. Also, make it illegal for any EVs to travel outside California's borders.

So you really like mandates, then? Also don't mind banning some types of vehicles?

"ecological disaster"
the actual equivalent is that of a 20oz cup of oil dumped out on the 50 yard line of the superdome.....ecological disaster my ass

So, you'd have no problem drinking that 20 oz of crude oil, then?

11 guys died. At least 82,000 marine animals died. 83 MILLION GALLONS of crude were released into the Gulf of America. They now believe dolphin and whale populations have been on the decline since, with beaked whales down 43%. There are some estimates that the affect was MUCH greater than originally stated.

I use gas and oil too, and I'm not for shutting down drilling. However, we need to be honest about it and the risks associated. This was an ecological disaster. No, people in Japan didn't feel it, just like a guy in the nosebleed seats wouldn't feel it if you were drinking that 20 oz cup of crude oil. But you would probably feel different about it.

As I have stated, I don't care what anyone drives, but let's be honest about it. Energy, in all forms, is dangerous.

11 people did not die from the "ecological disaster"
I'd have no problem drinking the oil.....if you mix it with the appropriate amount of water that's in the gulf of America...not at all
