I hit 10 on the pain meter getting out of bed this morning….
Did 150 in the 70’s on a Kawasaki H2 750. 165 in my vette. 183(on the speedometer)on the FZ1, 155 in the caddy. 165 in fifth gear in my current GTO, car was still pulling, my courage was not…
But in reality, I’m only half fast.

I should be hitting about 140mph in the 1/8 mile on my 05 Hayabusa this season.


The H2 are fast out of the block. But not much can be done with them after that and sales are puny.
Hell they gave one each to several of the big name Kawasaki Drag Racers.
Just not a great performer there. Maybe the road race, or circle track they are better IDK I don’t keep up with that side of the sport.

Ah, yes… the Kaw H2, world’s fastest unicycle.
Used to take our cars/bikes out to test on 285 when it was being built.
Got to see over 140 on my ‘73 Z1 Kaw regularly. Had a built ‘57 Merc when I was young that was fast on top end, around 140. Then there were my step-dads shine-running Fords in the late ‘50’s. Rode/drove in some fast cars, don’t think anything much over 150.
Wish I’d had somebody to clock my ‘64 327/365 ‘Vette coupe.
