Favorite pistol and rifle pairings

I'm interested in seeing what are some of the favorite pistol and rifle pairings of the general populace on here. Historical pairing or modern couples, let's hear em

A few of my favorite pairings are

M1A and 1911
M1 Garand and 1911
AR-10 and FNP-9

These are just a couple of my favorite couples, what are yours?

Right now I'm partial to my Winchester Model 94AE .357 Magnum and a 4" S&W Model 12 in .38 Special.

Benelli M4 and Glock 22

I have a Rossi 92 carbine and a Ruger Blackhawk 6.5" both in .357...they're a lot of fun to take to the range. And with some easy loaded .38s, they easy shooting and cheap to feed.

For a more modern pairing, my PSA AR15A4 20" and SIG P220 gets the job done.

I've always wanted pairs in matching calibers but don't have the money to support the habit.

Mine that I have: Sterling 9mm carbine + Taurus PT92 in 9mm

Ideas that I like:

m1 carbine and Ruger revolver in same caliber

.357 lever rifle + wheel gun (insert name here)

PS90 and accompanying pistol

Thompson and 1911: The ULTIMATE combo!
