Federal Judge Rules AR-15's Are "Dangerous and Unusual," Not Protected by 2nd Amendment

This is the reason I drive 45 minutes to work just to live outside of the state of Maryland. I'd be willing to bet this will not be the last we hear of this case though.
 
Being from PA, I always heard that a lot of people that commute to Maryland for work, do it because of the taxes in Maryland.

Also a reason.I guess I should have said this is the main reason I commute. I probably spend as much in gas/time away from the family as I would pay in taxes.
 
So what does this ruling mean? Does it affect gun ownership in Maryland or is it just this judge's opinion?

The way I follow it is that the judges opinion is that they aren't protected by the 2nd so there fore the state can regulate and infringe upon them how ever they see fit.
