Retroactive abortion
My wife represents a lot of her law firms clients in various family law cases. More common and becoming a growing problem in family law cases is issues of domestic violence. A lot of women and YES... EVEN MEN are taking out TPO's against their spouses, significant others etc, in an effort to protect themselves and or immediate family members and children from abusive relationships, stalking and violence. It's really sad to see. I explain to everyone that is a law abiding citizen and whom is of competent sound mind, judgement and character the importance of the 2nd amendment and protecting yourself. Sadly, a Court Order does not stop a psychopath or any individual with violent tendencies that have a complete and utter disregard for the law.
I think they can remove that protection order now.
