First independent Silencerco Omega tests are not so hot compared to orginal published specs

Strictly from a business perspective, they never should have released the initial numbers. Anyone could have predicted the backlash. And consumers are smart enough to figure out that it didn't hit the specified sound reduction. The lack of published independent third party Db tests would speak for itself, similar to how they avoided the subject when the Socom cans came out. Now SS has egg on their face with SCo, risking damage to their relationship. I'm sure it will blow over though. Editing the information with different ammo and test protocols is an obvious attempt to save face.

Just wanted to bump this. I got to actually shoot one myself yesterday on 556 in 14.5 and 10.5 barrels. This thing is mind blowingly quiet, I don't care what the meter says. It sounded BETTER to me on both platforms than even the Specwar 556. We shot the Omega, both Specwars and a Harvester on the guns.

Harvester was actually on a 18.5 only*

How was it on the 10.5?
