3' X 5' flag flies on the flag pole at our house 27/7. Lit up at night by the dusk to dawn security lights. Only time it comes down is when it wears out and I replace it.

Where do you take them when they get worn out? I'm pretty sure any local VA will take them and retire them properly.

you can burn it yourself when it gets to that point.No disrespect at all doing that.

Take it to your closest American Legion, they save them and do a ceremony when burning with respect

There is a local Ace Hardware here that takes them. One of the guys who works there is a Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts. They dispose of them. I take mine there.

I think that's all Ace hardware stores. All 3 in my area do.
