kroil... then in the freezer for 24 hrs. Pull it out of the freezer block in the vice and it should break loose. I've had this happen.

I had a similar issue.

30 round mag dump and a flat head screwdriver broke it free

i had the same thing once. i put some kroil on it and set it up in front of a space heater for about 10 minutes. strap wrench on the barrel and a screwdriver in the hider slots. good luck

I had one like that wouldn't come off a 20" upper. Found out that it was a Clinton era upper and because it had a bayonet lug, flash hider was welded on. Got to love the thinking back then...
