Interesting. But I'd have no use for a wild cat like this. .223 does the job this one will do.

If you're happy with your .223, that's fine. But the 20VT is really in a league all its own, offering higher velocity, greater accuracy, and less drop.

Sending an action off today. Started as a rem 700 300blk. Getting 24" 1/11" twist. #7 contour. I like .223 as well...but the 20vt is accurate as all @3700+ fps...and 18 grains of powder. I need that in my life.

Awesome! I'd love to have one, but I have a couple of old 222Rems that don't get shot enough as it is.

My cousin had one of his 222Rems rebarreled by Shilen to 20VT and he loves it. Makes an annual pilgrimage to WY every year to hunt PDs and says it keeps up with his buddy's 22-250 with less recoil and noise. Says he can see hits without recoil obstructing his vision.

that's what everyone says. pellet gun at 3700+ fps. see all hits in scope, low barrel heat.
