looks like the result of my neighbor, helped him track many deer never found

I found one the other day, looked like it was shot but there's no telling.

They can go for miles after being shot or hit by a vehicle and sometimes will live for days. This deer could have been hit far from where it was found. Killed a doe one time and when skinning her it appeared her spine had been broken at some point in the past and had completely healed.
