I understand your point on that subject. I am simply stating that the actual (true) final spec was done with controlled testing, which is the proper (only) way to arrive at clean data. It will be interesting to see what competing products end up specing out as, as it pertains to thermal drift. Like I said, in the end, this will be a win for all consumers as I am sure an industry standard will shake out of this. Currently we only know the spec on one manufactures optic...

Yes, most if not all of us who have Eotechs will never ever see the problems that warranted the refund in the first place. It's only a few models anyways.
I'm just glad all us weekend warriors will never ever be in the extreme temps/climates that are causing the problems unless you military guys are using Eotechs.
I just walked outside to go scope out some pigs hopefully, and I promptly turned my ass right back around and came back inside. It's frigid out there so the scope might've had 15 seconds in the "extreme"Mine seems to have no issuers BUT yet I am not a daily user or yet Have had to defend myself in a life or death situation . Have an Aimpoint as well but like the Eotech on my 10.5"Yes, most if not all of us who have Eotechs will never ever see the problems that warranted the refund in the first place. Let me ask you guys something. I filled out the form, got the approval email and all that. But I did not receive a RA number like the request says will be in the email response.
Did anyone else NOT get a RA number even though they got the approval email?
