Glock 43 vs p365 (anyone switch?)

Dunno. They definitely get way hotter than a Shield.

I think any time you have something so compact where the barrel has less gap to the slide etc you are going to get that. Almost like a slim handguard on an AR vs one that is large enough to accommodate a supressor. I also think not many guns this small are comfortable enough to blow through hundreds of rounds like the 365 is. I'm 100 away from 1k rounds, I'll probably get there tomorrow. Still not a single hiccup so I'm not worried about the heat being a reliability factor at this point.

After much skepticism, distrust from the P320 dropgate fiasco, and mixed reviews on the internet... I purchased my very own brand new P365 last Thursday. I will make my own decisions about it and carry my Glocks in the meantime. I did get rid of my 43 to try this out. I also bought a 48 too.

Only if you're shooting a hunnid zombies running after you. Range trip, maybe. EDC defensive shooting? Maybe 5-6 rounds in a real encounter.

1,000 rd no clean, no lube test report:
Well, it works. 1,000 trouble free rounds without cleaning or a drop of lube/oil. Just pulled it out of the box and ran it. I am going to now clean it up and start carrying it daily, in my mind it has earned its stripes.
