Some people just don’t understand how a business runs. No need to waste your time trying to explain it.Pump your brakes, hot rod. You are seeing 10% of the picture.
We bought a bunch of Glocks at a great deal, and sold them at $399. We sold out.
We tried to do the same deal again, but our distributor had gone up on THEIR price. We bought more, but were only able to sell them for $419. We sold out.
We recently bought the last ones we could find, but once again, wholesale prices had gone up. Our markup percentage has remained the same, but the prices we are paying for Glock has been rising.
I’ve been out of the shop for nearly a week, hunting in Montana. When I quoted $499, I was going off memory. So, I may have been off by $10. It’s also possible that while I was gone, the shop got another shipment of Glocks in, and they brought the price down $10.
We ain’t cashin’ in on ****. We are buying Glocks at the best prices that we can, marking them up our standard amount, and trying to get our customers the best deal we can.
More money than sense......someone is bidding one these
someone bid on this, up to $2k though??
And ARs and.............I bet there was a panic on muzzle loaders........People said the same thing about sks’ and mosins, I bet
How much would that $70 be worth now??Bought one when I was 18 for $70 I’m 33 now sold it for 275!
Time, age and wisdom go hand in hand.........1955 = I wouldn’t pay 20.00 for one of those ww2 1911’s they made millions of them!
1965 = I wouldn’t pay 50.00 for one of those colt single action army pistol!
1985 = I wouldn’t pay 100.00 for one of those AR-15 plastic rifles they jam, who would want a rifle you could make fully automatic !
1995 = I wouldn’t pay 90.00 for that Russian SKS junk, every gun show has them!
2005 = I wouldn’t pay 250.00 for a JM marlin lever action rifle, they are everywhere cheap!
2025 = I wouldn’t pay 400.00 for some old Glock that you could put a switch in and make fully automatic! It will never be worth anything!
Gun collectors logic = I wish I had of known back then what is was gonna be worth, I would have bought a bunch of them cheap!
