Glock "Perfection" Breakdown

I paid less than 400 bucks for it, never clean it, wear it every day IWB, swim in rivers with it on, and when I shoot it at the range it works every time. No signs of rust or wear, and even if it did, it was less than 400 bucks so who cares? Magazines can be found for 10 bucks often and are plentiful, replacement parts are cheap and plentiful, and the company which just happens to be down the street has some of the best customer service in the business if the need should ever arise.

I only own one Glock, and it is the gun I carry every day. Is it pretty? Nope/ Does it have a silky smooth action and trigger? Nope. Is is ergonomically perfect for my body? Nope. If I ever need to depend on it to protect my life or the lives of those I love can I depend on it? You're damn right.

Do I think other guns suck? Nope. Am I smart enough to realise that "Perfection" is a marketing slogan and not a statement? You bet.

Do I think it's funny that the Glock haters are more vocal and asinine than the Glock tard fan boys and are exponentially more annoying? Yep.
Very well said:)

I've owned a few and still have a few.
They work. I have other weapons I shoot better and many I shoot worse.
Guns are like women. You may not like that one at the bar but I bet some dude do.
Just walk away and let the other guy have what he likes.
I agree but mine always puts out when loaded!

I like the grip angle and ergos of Glocks, especially with the gen4+. The beaver tail grip module is great. I have gotten mild slide bite from older gen glocks. I have owned alot of handguns, from at least 10-15 different manufacturers, and the glock fit my hands the best. I don't think they are the greatest thing ever, but mine have never had a malfunction, and I certainly don't baby them, or clean them as often as I should.

Yes, triggers aren't great, but they are damn good for a factory striker fired gun.
Yes, sights suck. I dont know why the hell Glock doesn't charge $50 more bucks and put a a set of steel night sights on their guns.
Yes, some suck, and blow up, and they do have malfuntions (mine never have) but so does any gun from any company. For the most part Glocks are reliable, as are most pistols from most reputable companies.
Yes, they are ugly, but I didn't get it to attract fat middle aged gun guys, plus it sits in the holster inside my waste band with a shirt over it for 12 hours a day. Who cares if it is ugly?

EDIT: Oh and they are cheap....

Why does it even matter? Own and shoot whatever you like. The Glock haters have become more petulant and annoying than the fan boys. If you don't like them, great. Starting a thread calling out Glock owners seems like a lack of and a need for attention.

Is little Ben being ignored?

Its been my experience those people that can't shoot Glocks worth a ****, complain about them.
I can shoot Glocks fine accuracy wise. They're just not as easy to shoot as other guns, and yes that should be a factor.
I can't shoot small revolvers with the rear sight cut into the gun but semi autos I'm alright.

Don't really care but you can humor me. They're popular for two reasons: police and military use them, and because of capacity since people think they'll need 15+ rounds.

Actually neither one of those reasons have anything to do with why I choose glock. You are showing your ignorance.
