Good Gun shop in Macon

So where would everyone suggest looking for a used Browning Gold Hunter around Macon or Warner Robins? I'll be working in the area off and on for the next few months, stopped in Chuck's in WR and thought I found one but it was more than I wanted to out into a used one.

Stuff like Browning shotguns ain't gonna be easy to locate used especially around here. For something like that I would check with Barrow Automotive over in Butler. It's about a 45 minute ride headed West. Big gun shop attached to an auto parts store in a very small town. On a of the oldest class 3 dealers in middle GA. They always have what I call the Doctor and Lawyer shotguns on hand. You know the fancy I-Talien made over and undsrs in the velvet lined leather hard cases.
I don't like Chuck's too much but I will admit they have a big selection of used long guns on racks in front of the gun counter. Howard's Pawn has about the same for used long guns and better prices. But again you gotta ride deep into the ghetto in West Macon.

I'm not opposed to an 1100 or 1187 in decent shape either. I'll check em out.

If you can go to Howard's try to deal with Howard. It ain't nothing for him to discount used guns 10 to 20% soon as you pick it up or ask about it. Howard kinda sounds like Gump when you talk to him and his radio commercials are funny. But he's really a very smart successful bidness man.
