If an shtf situation were to come to pass and you had to use all those beans and rice you may have piled up, here's a little items that's cheap and easy to use that I recommend having on hand since fat back, salt pork and other meat may be scarce. You can find it at your local grocery store and it adds mighty fine flavor to butter beans, green beans, pintos, kidney beans, rice, etc...just sprinkle in the right amount and cook as usual.

This probably goes without saying but it's a little heavy on the sodium content...good stuff, though. And Goya also has chicken concentrate too if you can't find the "other" brand... :juggle:
