I bought some bulk rice and beans at Sam's Club.
I had thought to separate them into smaller vacuum sealed bags but I've been reading that this might cause some fungus to grow.
I have 25lb bags of rice, black beans and I plan to get some more.
What do you guys do?

Store with mylar bags with a few bay leaves, an 02 absorber and a desiccant. I use a commercial sealer, but an iron will work to seal the mylar bags.

The bags and sealer are readily available.

Don’t laugh but… Sam’s Club also sells large stackable dog food storage containers for $14

They also sell a 3 pack of Rubbermaid cereal containers for $12.

I can tell you that 4 #50’s stack neat in the dog food containers and the cereal containers keep well on the counter top full of rice, beans, and sugar…
