Governor Deal Sitting on HB60

That turd won't sign it.

(And I won't vote for his sorry ass if he doesn't.)

Just look at what he has signed:

-And ask yourself what is so hard about signing HB 60?

Deal is a peanutty turdball. I hope all those ethics charges catch up with his ass.

These things take time. I am 99.9% sure he will sign it. Be patient....and keep kindly contacting him.

I sure don't understand why he hopped right up and signed all those other bills.

If he were the "consistent and unapologetic supporter of the 2nd" that he claims to be, his ass would have signed something as good as HB60 first.

I still fall into the "he won't sign it" category. I get a very strong turd vibe from any man who was ever a democrat-and switched parties when the winds changed. People tend to forget that deal was a democratic congressman in the Clinton days. Anyone shady enough to call themselves a democrat under a serious slimeball like Clinton can never be trusted again. Ever.

Been sending the Gov. emails once or twice a week, since before HB60. This link needs to be saved, forwarded, and everyone should make a mental note to take 2 minutes every week and email Nathan Deal. Unbelievable we have to email our Governor asking him to uphold the Constitution, but here we are. This needs to be a priority to all of us.

Hence, the reason I describe our Governor as a turd.

This gentleman "MRH" has it right. The gun prohibitionists are whipping pro gun supporters $sses in calling Deal. If everyone on this site and perhaps all pro gun folks in this state don't start stepping up to the plate over time the prohibitionists will get what they want becuase they want it more. I am sick and tired of going into ranges and speaking to gun owners where I work, since I see allot of them, who are not aware of HB60, The UN Small Arms Treaty (which if ratified will completely disable the 2nd amendment and put foreign entities in charge of our gun rights) or simply seem apathetic about their rights. People don't start taking this stuff real serious NOW I will be selling drums of cosmoline to folks looking to put their "assault weapons" in the ground for long term storage. If you don't think that can happen ask Cliven Bundy about what the government is willing to do to get their way. They are not done with him yet either. You can either fight for your rights now and keep them, or you can try to get them back once they're gone and believe me the latter is allot harder!

help me to understand why he needs to sign it? from my understanding, without action it will go into effect july 1? i think what needs to be impressed on deal is to not veto. that's the only issue. politically, i think his people think he'll lose more than he gains by signing. pro 2A folks might be pissed at him for not signing, but if it's law come election time, only the very hardcore will hold it against him. but by signing he energizes gun control folks and fuels a 2A debate in the next election cycle that doesn't need to be there. i think this is a case where folks shouldn't be up in arms about process, but focus on results. if come july 2 it's not law, then there's a problem. i think deal is aware of that. 'nuff said.
