Gunblast review of the Ruger 1911 in 10mm

So I put 100 rounds of Underwood and SIG 10mm through mine last night and it ran like a top. Whatever breaking-in was needed is done, and man is it nice to shoot. So much 'softer' than the Glock during recoil. I don't know if it's the grip or the steel-vs-polymer or what, but I have never shot 10mm this comfortably before. It really felt like a 45, just with more muzzle climb.

And also, this gun is accurate! It makes my 45ACP version (which is pretty good itself) look like a scatter gun. I'm no expert but I was able to get quarter-sized groups at 10 yards just by focusing on the fundamentals a bit. I shot the 45 side by side and it just couldn't keep up. That bull/cone barrel setup really does seem to work.
