Has anyone tried CFE-223

Has anyone tried CFE-223 for 556 and 308. If so do you like it. It seems to get mixed reviews.

I used some BL-C2 before in a pinch for 308 and they were really spicy. BL-C2 is really close to CFE-223 on the burn chart. If you use it for 308 I would start a little under recommended charge weight.

Use it all the time for 223/5.56, like other have said, meters well and shoots great for me.

I have used it for 223/556, pretty much adjusted powder to get same speeds as my load with H335 for ball/plinking/military duplicate ammo. It takes a couple of grains more for the same speed.

Use it for .223 loads for the AR. Good to go.

this. if you look at hodgdon website...charge weights for cfe 223 and bl-c(2) are pretty close.
