Ok, I remember another one. I was in my late 20's and had a rossi.357 with the 7" ported barrel. Was in the passenger seat of my fiero when I hit a curve. It slid off seat went off. Never found the hole or a replacement front driver's seat

3lbs. is about right for an auto. This rifle was a custom build I bought second hand. That rifle will do a dime size group at over 300yds. On a fixed action you can tune it down a bit lower than an auto. Trigger pull makes a good difference at distance shooting

inherited several "benchrest" guns from my dad....most of them had 2oz triggers....needless to say, you don't close the bolt, unless it's pointing in the direction you are wanting to shoot!!!
AND...you don't touch the trigger unless you want it to go boom!!!
Jewel triggers for the most part......one saying he had was when he called to order a particular trigger....they asked for the pull weight my dad replied 2 or 3 ounces....which came back..."do you want 2 ounces or do you want 3 ounces"....
