help me with glock slide release

So my g19 will NOT slide lock back after last round and that causes mag release button to not work either. Reason is the slide lock is not catching the lip of the mag but on the side of the lip as in pic below. Swapped out for another slide release and still doing it. Any ideas?

Itwill sometimes catch the lip as in pic but many times will not.

Are you sure you have the slide lock spring in the right place?
It should be under that top pin.

Not saying I know very much, but I've never seen this problem ever and I spend a lot of time at a busy gun club....

Can you pull the mag out and take a picture with you camera/phone the other way?
Everytime I try to look at the angle I need, my stupid azz computer turns it, lol.

Slide lock spring is currently wrapped around bottom larger pin in frame and under the top pin.

I am referring to the slide lock release that catches the front left lip of the mag when inserted

Thanks but arrow should be pointing at the number 6 stamped on the left front side of mag where slide release should catch
