Tums, that is a new on one me as well. There are lots of tips and tricks in gardening and being plain old self sufficient that have been lost in the past 2-3 generations. It is a shame.

Mix milk and water 40/60 (40% milk) and spray in the morning. It has worked for me more than once.

I'll give that a try. Thanks! Blossom end rot is a calcium deficiency. Crush up a tums in a gallon of water, shake and water. Instant calcium shake for the plant.

I know my grandfather mixes some evaporated milk in when he is planting different varieties of plants, that makes a lot of sense

Well....I got one! Looks like I may have a mess by late next week but about half are still dying off at about 4 inches. The second pic is what they are doing. Pain in my #%! I really want some fresh fried squash.

Yeah...I planted a month plus late because I had a tree down that fell right across my little garden spot. Took me a bit to get that thing cut up. Thanks though for the well wishes.
