1. The NYC shooter shot black, white, Indian and Asian people, so how was it racist?

2. Recent numerous attacks on Asians… do you know the motives? It was the lies spread about COVID. And who spread those lies? Who called it the “Kung Flu”? It wasn’t the Left.

The vast majority of racial crimes every year are committed by White people and has been the same for decades. Every year, Black people are the most racially targeted in crimes; 89% are committed by White people. And 6% is committed by Asians; which is much higher than Black on Asian hate crimes. White people have the most hate groups by far (98%), and also lead in attacks on Asians, Hispanics, the LGBTQ, and religious groups.

So if you’re going to try and point fingers, just remember that everything you say has another side.

3. The left? So you believe the Right doesn’t? Your post shows exactly why people don’t unite in America. Did you forget the fact that white supremacists are Right wingers? Right Wing extremists have committed the majority of terroristic and racial attacks since the founding of America; from bombings to mass shootings to genocide. There are literally conventions and websites specifically by and for Right wing people that talk about eradicating other races, the danger others pose to white lives, and more. But you blame the LEFT for dividing people? Lmfao

Wow, I wrote another thesis. FreedomUSMC, I honestly appreciate your point of view and your being on the ODT. However: Bottom line up front: Statistics don't agree with your statements. We have racial and cultural problems in this country. Some whites do hate black people, and some blacks hate whites. There is fear and propaganda on both sides. FBI stats demonstrate why some white people fear and dislike blacks. News headlines showcasing blacks killed by police demonstrate why some blacks fear and dislike whites.

I'm really not looking to pick a fight, but the FBI Crime Statistics don't actually agree with you, and I'll give references below.

However, point by point:
#1. NYC (Brooklyn) Subway Shooter, like the Waukesha parade killer was black. So the press doesn't make as much hype, in regards to "hate" crimes, even when in the former, the shooter (Frank James) made anti-white (or anti anyone who's not black) videos, and in the latter case when the "driver" (Darrell Brooks) had made anti-white comments on YouTube, and used Hitler/ Nazi Memes. Ergo, they are racist and the murders could be if not should be considered hate crimes.

#2. Yes, Trump called it the Woo-flu, and his attempts to halt flights from China were excoriated as xenophobic. However, if, IF, those travel bans HAD been enacted sooner we may (MAY) have lessened the pandemic. Even a former CDC Chief has stated his belief that Covid DID come from a Chinese lab ( https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-origin-redfield-idUSKBN2BI2R6 )

Now, here's where you're probably going to get upset, and I am sorry, however, FBI crime data stats, and multiple peer-reviewed articles show that, as a portion of population, young black men are way (WAY) more over-represented in murder and rapes as the PERPETRATORS than their percentage of the population.

HATE CRIMES:

In 2019, race was reported for 6,406 known hate crime offenders. Of these offenders:

• 52.5 percent were White.
• 23.9 percent were Black or African American.
• 6.6 percent were groups made up of individuals of various races (group of multiple races).
• 1.1 percent were American Indian or Alaska Native.
• 0.9 percent (58 offenders) were Asian.
• 0.3 percent (22 offenders) were Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander.
• 14.6 percent were unknown

Among single-bias hate crime incidents in 2019, there were 4,930 victims of race/ethnicity/ancestry motivated hate crime.

• 48.5 percent were victims of crimes motivated by offenders’ anti-Black or African American bias.
• 15.7 percent were victims of anti-White bias.
• 14.1 percent were victims of anti-Hispanic or Latino bias.
• 4.4 percent were victims of anti-Asian bias.
• 3.5 percent were victims of bias against a group of individuals in which more than one race was represented (anti-multiple races, group).
• 2.7 percent were victims of anti-American Indian or Alaska Native bias.
• 2.6 percent were victims of anti-Arab bias.
• 0.5 percent (26 individuals) were victims of anti-Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander bias.
• 8.0 percent were victims of anti-Other Race/Ethnicity/Ancestry bias.

SO, the FBI says that although only 12.6% of the population is black, they make up 23.9% of known hate crime Offenders. That's twice their representation in the population. But we don't hear about that as much in the media.

We also see that there is MORE anti-black crime. Whites (by the data) do commit MORE hate crimes, and the vast MAJORITY of those crimes are against blacks.

I've added a ton of charts and data below, all from the FBI Crime Data site.

So, what do we glean from even a perfunctory purview of this unpalatable data?

First, we do have to agree that blacks, especially young black men, are more likely to be stopped by police. That alone will skew the stats. However, we see that black men between the ages of 13-34, although less than 5% percent of the total population (the US Census currently states that 12.6% consider themselves as "black", and about 26% of the US population is between 15-35 years of age), are responsible for almost half of the violent crimes in America. In fact, between those ages of 13 to 34, blacks commit more violent crimes than whites, that's in numbers, not percentages.

Interestingly, we also see that old white men are way more likely to commit murder than old black men. Seems old white men are real curmudgeons and will still kill people.

From the other point of view, if over 48% of all hate crimes are perpetrated against blacks, that is way (WAY WAY) out of line by percentage of the population. Almost half of all hate crimes are against 12.6% of the population?? Yeah, that's a problem.

Boys and young men need fathers. There are generations of boys and young me growing up without a permanent positive role model. It is more prevalent in the black community (by percentage of population) but it is not a black-only issue. Without a father, boys look for affirmation from other sources, sometimes other unfathered boys, with disastrous consequences. Boys need a Godly man to teach them how to be a Godly man.


And finally, #3. Weather Underground. Symbionese Liberation Army, etc. However, despite the 2020 report from the Center for Strategic & International Studies ( https://www.csis.org/analysis/war-comes-home-evolution-domestic-terrorism-united-states )
(oh, and don't you love their page photo highlighting a guy with a confederate flag holding an AR-15? Isn't that so provoking?)
as I was stating, despite their 2020 study detailing that Violent Far Right groups made up about 41 of the 60'ish "Terrorist Attacks and Plots" of 2020, the Economist ( https://www.economist.com/graphic-d...-plots-have-outnumbered-far-left-ones-in-2020 ) showed that if you go back to 2000 - 2007, the Far-Left (and by 2006-07, the Religious) accounted for the majority of Terrorist attacks and plots.

Need I add that the Buffalo shooter, yes, a white boy, was a leftist? Or that the case against the Michigan idiots that talked about kidnapping the governor was all propped up by FBI entrapment?

Are there whack jobs out there talking about race? Yes, and on both sides. White people may have more anti-black web sites, and black people may be more likely to say F the police. Both are wrong. But as far as genocide? That dishonor falls to the communists. From Stalin to Mao, more people have died from communism (even as they were members of communist states) than from any other purview in world history, probably including religion if you look at pure numbers and not population percentages.

The stats (as stated in my intro) are why a lot of white people fear and dislike or distrust blacks. The history of racism, discrimination and lynchings in America are why a lot of black people fear, dislike and distrust whites. Again, for almost half of all hate crimes to be committed against black people is a serious problem and a definite statistical truth.


Is there a race problem in America? Yes. Is there a cultural problem? Yes.
Do people self segregate? Yes (the Navy did an informal study on this years ago after some admiral visiting an aircraft carrier noticed that, for the most part, black and white sailors sat in groups of their own race at chow. The Navy determined it was not from overt racism, but from sailors seeking the comfort of commonality. Sailors first self segregated by race, then by area of origin {south, New England, etc.], and even further by city [Detroit, Chicago, LA, etc.]. They do it initially to find the comfort of having something in common. Later, sailors who work together are more likely to segregate in groups ).

Here's a shocker: there was a statement not long ago stating that in some poll black people believed that black teens were more likely to be killed by a police officer than in an car accident. ( https://www.manhattan-institute.org/social-construction-racism-united-states#notes ).
Even the LA Times jumped on the bandwagon by saying that black teens had a 1 in 1000 chance of being killed by a police officer ( https://www.latimes.com/science/sto...gs-are-a-leading-cause-of-death-for-black-men ). They used data from the CDC, but even their own chart says that this isn't true. 3.4 deaths out of 100K is nowhere near 1 in a 1000. But even more important, black men between the ages of 25-29 are five times more likely to die from suicide, seventeen times more likely to die from an accident, and a shocking almost thirty times more likely to die from an assault, most likely at the hands of another black man.


In closing, again, I appreciate your voice on the ODT. I appreciate your service as a Marine. On a personal note, as a platoon leader in the US Army Field Artillery my platoon was known as the "Mixed Bloods". I had whites, blacks, hispanics (one a former LA gang member), one Viet-French, and one native Hawaiian. In few months after the best platoon sergeant in the Army was rotated back to Ft. Sill to serve as an instructor I had to fire three platoon sergeants. That most stellar of all NCOs was black, and he taught me sooooo freaking much as a new LT that I honestly mourned his loss even as I celebrated his promotion. Of the three replacements I canned, two were white, one was black; they were all worthless in regards to competence, commitment, courage and character. In the end I found an excellent E6 who was hispanic, and we excelled as a platoon to the point that other young soldiers in our battalion requested to be transferred to us. My motto was, and remains, we all bleed red, no matter the color of our skin. I loved my men, and they appreciated and respected my leadership. I trusted them to do their best and they knew they could trust me to look out for them. It'd be great to see that level of camaraderie and truest on a national level. But when Joe Biden tells people that they "ain't black" if they don't vote for him, it seems insulting to me as a white person.

Blacks are over-represented among offenders in each category of aggressive crime: in homicide at a level 315% greater than their representation in the general population, in sexual assault at a level 404% as great, in aggravated assault at 274% greater than their representation in the general population. Whites and “others” are under-represented among offenders. Blacks are at highly increased risk, relative to their representation in the nation's population, for victimization in homicide and at some disadvantage (although not at a level appropriately denominated as risk in a statistical sense) for victimization in both sexual and aggravated assault. Episodes of criminal aggression initiated by white offenders account for slightly more than 73% of all single-offender episodes of aggressive crime, while episodes initiated by Black offenders account for approximately 27%, so that white-perpetrated criminal aggression exceeds Black-initiated criminal aggression at a ratio of 2.7:1. Blacks are represented among offenders in aggressive crime slightly more than twice their representation in the nation's population. It is more than five times as likely that a white victim has been set upon by a white offender than by a Black offender and nearly seven times as likely that a Black victim has been set upon by a Black offender as by a white offender. It is 32 times as likely that a white offender will victimize another white as it is that he or she will victimize a Black. But Black offenders victimize whites as frequently as they victimize other Blacks. When gender and age are considered interactively with race, it is seen that Black males in adolescence and adulthood are at astronomically enhanced risk both for homicide offending and for victimization in homicide, such that Black males aged 18-24 are at a risk level for offending nearly 28 times greater and for victimization nearly 17 times greater than their representation in the national population. Data on divergence in “choice” of victim by Black offenders not inflected by age and on the astronomical risk for homicide offending by young Black men likely anchor a phenomenology of fear among whites."

• In 2019, 69.4 percent of all individuals arrested were White, 26.6 percent were Black or African American, and 4.0 percent were of other races.
• Of arrestees for whom ethnicity was reported, 19.1 percent were Hispanic or Latino.
• Of all juveniles (persons under the age of 18) arrested in 2019, 62.5 percent were White, 33.9 percent were Black or African American, and 3.6 percent were of other races.
• Of juvenile arrestees for whom ethnicity was reported, 23.6 percent were Hispanic or Latino.
• Of all adults arrested in 2019, 69.9 percent were White, 26.1 percent were Black or African American, and 4.0 percent were of other races.
• Of adult arrestees for whom ethnicity was reported, 18.8 percent were Hispanic or Latino.
• White individuals were arrested more often for violent crimes than individuals of any other race and accounted for 59.1 percent of those arrests.
• Of adults arrested for murder, 51.3 percent were Black or African American, 45.7 percent were White, and 3.0 percent were of other races.
• White juveniles comprised 50.3 percent of all juveniles arrested for violent crimes, and Black or African American juveniles accounted for 46.4 percent of juveniles arrested for violent crimes. White juveniles comprised 54.9 percent of all juveniles arrested for property crimes.
• Of juveniles arrested for drug abuse violations, 74.8 percent were White.
• White juveniles comprised 56.4 percent of juveniles arrested for aggravated assault and 55.4 percent of juveniles arrested for larceny-theft.

Last night, gun-chat sites like this and conservative news sites were all reporting the name and showing pictures of the mass murderer from the school in Texas.
But the liberal mass media outlets were not showing his face and not even announcing his name, because from his name (Salvador Ramos) you would know he's Hispanic.

Even this morning, that leftist propaganda site CNN did not show his picture and only mentioned his name about six pages deep into an article --almost nobody would dig that deep to find his name.

And naturally they never use phrases like "Hispanic" or "Latino." In contrast, every time a white person commits a mass shooting they always put his face front and center on page 1 of any article and they always mention his name. Often they announce that he is "white" even though that is not necessary after showing his picture.

Serious double standard going on here.

Today I listened to at least five broadcasts of FM news radio on the liberal news station WSB radio --both their own news stories & the national news story supplied by CBS News.

They did not mention the elementary school shooter's name at any point today--- again because mentioning his name would tell America he is Hispanic, and the liberal media wants to perpetuate the propaganda that mass shootings are done by whites.

Wow, I wrote another thesis. FreedomUSMC, I honestly appreciate your point of view and your being on the ODT. However: Bottom line up front: Statistics don't agree with your statements. We have racial and cultural problems in this country. Some whites do hate black people, and some blacks hate whites. There is fear and propaganda on both sides. FBI stats demonstrate why some white people fear and dislike blacks. News headlines showcasing blacks killed by police demonstrate why some blacks fear and dislike whites.

I'm really not looking to pick a fight, but the FBI Crime Statistics don't actually agree with you, and I'll give references below.

However, point by point:
#1. NYC (Brooklyn) Subway Shooter, like the Waukesha parade killer was black. So the press doesn't make as much hype, in regards to "hate" crimes, even when in the former, the shooter (Frank James) made anti-white (or anti anyone who's not black) videos, and in the latter case when the "driver" (Darrell Brooks) had made anti-white comments on YouTube, and used Hitler/ Nazi Memes. Ergo, they are racist and the murders could be if not should be considered hate crimes.

#2. Yes, Trump called it the Woo-flu, and his attempts to halt flights from China were excoriated as xenophobic. However, if, IF, those travel bans HAD been enacted sooner we may (MAY) have lessened the pandemic. Even a former CDC Chief has stated his belief that Covid DID come from a Chinese lab ( https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-origin-redfield-idUSKBN2BI2R6 )

Now, here's where you're probably going to get upset, and I am sorry, however, FBI crime data stats, and multiple peer-reviewed articles show that, as a portion of population, young black men are way (WAY) more over-represented in murder and rapes as the PERPETRATORS than their percentage of the population.

HATE CRIMES:

In 2019, race was reported for 6,406 known hate crime offenders. Of these offenders:

• 52.5 percent were White.
• 23.9 percent were Black or African American.
• 6.6 percent were groups made up of individuals of various races (group of multiple races).
• 1.1 percent were American Indian or Alaska Native.
• 0.9 percent (58 offenders) were Asian.
• 0.3 percent (22 offenders) were Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander.
• 14.6 percent were unknown

Among single-bias hate crime incidents in 2019, there were 4,930 victims of race/ethnicity/ancestry motivated hate crime.

• 48.5 percent were victims of crimes motivated by offenders’ anti-Black or African American bias.
• 15.7 percent were victims of anti-White bias.
• 14.1 percent were victims of anti-Hispanic or Latino bias.
• 4.4 percent were victims of anti-Asian bias.
• 3.5 percent were victims of bias against a group of individuals in which more than one race was represented (anti-multiple races, group).
• 2.7 percent were victims of anti-American Indian or Alaska Native bias.
• 2.6 percent were victims of anti-Arab bias.
• 0.5 percent (26 individuals) were victims of anti-Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander bias.
• 8.0 percent were victims of anti-Other Race/Ethnicity/Ancestry bias.

SO, the FBI says that although only 12.6% of the population is black, they make up 23.9% of known hate crime Offenders. That's twice their representation in the population. But we don't hear about that as much in the media.

We also see that there is MORE anti-black crime. Whites (by the data) do commit MORE hate crimes, and the vast MAJORITY of those crimes are against blacks.

I've added a ton of charts and data below, all from the FBI Crime Data site.

So, what do we glean from even a perfunctory purview of this unpalatable data?

First, we do have to agree that blacks, especially young black men, are more likely to be stopped by police. That alone will skew the stats. However, we see that black men between the ages of 13-34, although less than 5% percent of the total population (the US Census currently states that 12.6% consider themselves as "black", and about 26% of the US population is between 15-35 years of age), are responsible for almost half of the violent crimes in America. In fact, between those ages of 13 to 34, blacks commit more violent crimes than whites, that's in numbers, not percentages.

Interestingly, we also see that old white men are way more likely to commit murder than old black men. Seems old white men are real curmudgeons and will still kill people.

From the other point of view, if over 48% of all hate crimes are perpetrated against blacks, that is way (WAY WAY) out of line by percentage of the population. Almost half of all hate crimes are against 12.6% of the population?? Yeah, that's a problem.

Boys and young men need fathers. There are generations of boys and young me growing up without a permanent positive role model. It is more prevalent in the black community (by percentage of population) but it is not a black-only issue. Without a father, boys look for affirmation from other sources, sometimes other unfathered boys, with disastrous consequences. Boys need a Godly man to teach them how to be a Godly man.


And finally, #3. Weather Underground. Symbionese Liberation Army, etc. However, despite the 2020 report from the Center for Strategic & International Studies ( https://www.csis.org/analysis/war-comes-home-evolution-domestic-terrorism-united-states )
(oh, and don't you love their page photo highlighting a guy with a confederate flag holding an AR-15? Isn't that so provoking?)
as I was stating, despite their 2020 study detailing that Violent Far Right groups made up about 41 of the 60'ish "Terrorist Attacks and Plots" of 2020, the Economist ( https://www.economist.com/graphic-d...-plots-have-outnumbered-far-left-ones-in-2020 ) showed that if you go back to 2000 - 2007, the Far-Left (and by 2006-07, the Religious) accounted for the majority of Terrorist attacks and plots.

Need I add that the Buffalo shooter, yes, a white boy, was a leftist? Or that the case against the Michigan idiots that talked about kidnapping the governor was all propped up by FBI entrapment?

Are there whack jobs out there talking about race? Yes, and on both sides. White people may have more anti-black web sites, and black people may be more likely to say F the police. Both are wrong. But as far as genocide? That dishonor falls to the communists. From Stalin to Mao, more people have died from communism (even as they were members of communist states) than from any other purview in world history, probably including religion if you look at pure numbers and not population percentages.

The stats (as stated in my intro) are why a lot of white people fear and dislike or distrust blacks. The history of racism, discrimination and lynchings in America are why a lot of black people fear, dislike and distrust whites. Again, for almost half of all hate crimes to be committed against black people is a serious problem and a definite statistical truth.


Is there a race problem in America? Yes. Is there a cultural problem? Yes.
Do people self segregate? Yes (the Navy did an informal study on this years ago after some admiral visiting an aircraft carrier noticed that, for the most part, black and white sailors sat in groups of their own race at chow. The Navy determined it was not from overt racism, but from sailors seeking the comfort of commonality. Sailors first self segregated by race, then by area of origin {south, New England, etc.], and even further by city [Detroit, Chicago, LA, etc.]. They do it initially to find the comfort of having something in common. Later, sailors who work together are more likely to segregate in groups ).

Here's a shocker: there was a statement not long ago stating that in some poll black people believed that black teens were more likely to be killed by a police officer than in an car accident. ( https://www.manhattan-institute.org/social-construction-racism-united-states#notes ).
Even the LA Times jumped on the bandwagon by saying that black teens had a 1 in 1000 chance of being killed by a police officer ( https://www.latimes.com/science/sto...gs-are-a-leading-cause-of-death-for-black-men ). They used data from the CDC, but even their own chart says that this isn't true. 3.4 deaths out of 100K is nowhere near 1 in a 1000. But even more important, black men between the ages of 25-29 are five times more likely to die from suicide, seventeen times more likely to die from an accident, and a shocking almost thirty times more likely to die from an assault, most likely at the hands of another black man.


In closing, again, I appreciate your voice on the ODT. I appreciate your service as a Marine. On a personal note, as a platoon leader in the US Army Field Artillery my platoon was known as the "Mixed Bloods". I had whites, blacks, hispanics (one a former LA gang member), one Viet-French, and one native Hawaiian. In few months after the best platoon sergeant in the Army was rotated back to Ft. Sill to serve as an instructor I had to fire three platoon sergeants. That most stellar of all NCOs was black, and he taught me sooooo freaking much as a new LT that I honestly mourned his loss even as I celebrated his promotion. Of the three replacements I canned, two were white, one was black; they were all worthless in regards to competence, commitment, courage and character. In the end I found an excellent E6 who was hispanic, and we excelled as a platoon to the point that other young soldiers in our battalion requested to be transferred to us. My motto was, and remains, we all bleed red, no matter the color of our skin. I loved my men, and they appreciated and respected my leadership. I trusted them to do their best and they knew they could trust me to look out for them. It'd be great to see that level of camaraderie and truest on a national level. But when Joe Biden tells people that they "ain't black" if they don't vote for him, it seems insulting to me as a white person.

Blacks are over-represented among offenders in each category of aggressive crime: in homicide at a level 315% greater than their representation in the general population, in sexual assault at a level 404% as great, in aggravated assault at 274% greater than their representation in the general population. Whites and “others” are under-represented among offenders. Blacks are at highly increased risk, relative to their representation in the nation's population, for victimization in homicide and at some disadvantage (although not at a level appropriately denominated as risk in a statistical sense) for victimization in both sexual and aggravated assault. Episodes of criminal aggression initiated by white offenders account for slightly more than 73% of all single-offender episodes of aggressive crime, while episodes initiated by Black offenders account for approximately 27%, so that white-perpetrated criminal aggression exceeds Black-initiated criminal aggression at a ratio of 2.7:1. Blacks are represented among offenders in aggressive crime slightly more than twice their representation in the nation's population. It is more than five times as likely that a white victim has been set upon by a white offender than by a Black offender and nearly seven times as likely that a Black victim has been set upon by a Black offender as by a white offender. It is 32 times as likely that a white offender will victimize another white as it is that he or she will victimize a Black. But Black offenders victimize whites as frequently as they victimize other Blacks. When gender and age are considered interactively with race, it is seen that Black males in adolescence and adulthood are at astronomically enhanced risk both for homicide offending and for victimization in homicide, such that Black males aged 18-24 are at a risk level for offending nearly 28 times greater and for victimization nearly 17 times greater than their representation in the national population. Data on divergence in “choice” of victim by Black offenders not inflected by age and on the astronomical risk for homicide offending by young Black men likely anchor a phenomenology of fear among whites."

• White juveniles comprised 56.4 percent of juveniles arrested for aggravated assault and 55.4 percent of juveniles arrested for larceny-theft.

Your stats and the FBI stats are based on Census, which has been wrong for decades. People who come from countries such as India and various Arab countries, are automatically counted as Caucasian. That skews the data. If the numbers only accounted for truly European people, the white population would be closer to 40%. Which sheds light on the real facts.

1. Why is black arrest rate high per capita? Because more cops are in those areas. More cops = more arrests.

2. White people lead in almost every heinous crime category. As for hate crimes, look at the amount of UNSOLVED crimes. There's countless lynchings and murders that go ignored. Just like that black child that was killed and dumped in a wrestling mat. Or the one that was taken by a white family, found in a field with his organs missing, but no one was charged despite proof that showed they lied about their story to the cops. If there were more cops focused on white areas, you can bet those crime stats would change.

3. FBI and DOJ released data that said White people commit crimes at a higher rate than any other race. This is illustrated in the FBI Table 43 you shared. Look at the amount of white people arrested vs the amount of black people arrested. Then look at incarceration by race. It doesn't make sense. Do nearly 3-4x as many people arrested, equate to less than 20% prison population? That means a white person is 4x more likely to get off a conviction.

4. There's a difference between Racism and Prejudice. Blacks don't hate white people because of their skin color. They distrust white people because of the history white people have and personal encounters. Some white people hate black people purely because of skin color. Not because a black person has done anything to them. In the history of the world, no one ever hunted, raped, and killed white people for being white. White people have never had to fight for equality with another skin color.

5. The NYC subway shooter was absolutely labeled as racist and the media covered it. DOJ even made a statement of making hate crime charges. But that still doesn't negate the fact that the overwhelming majority of hate crimes are committed by white people. How many times have you seen videos of black people calling white people racist names? How many Hispanics have you seen telling white people, go back where you came from? America was founded on utter racism and it has thrived all these decades.

6. People will bring up crimes stats but ignore the cause. Why is crime higher in poverty stricken areas? Why are minorities the majority in poverty? Why are white people are still the majority on govt benefits but not the majority in poverty? Why were minorities denied the same rights and assistance that white people received? Why were black towns bombed and burned? Why were banks denying loans and business applications? All of these things, on top of racist laws and cops, are exactly why minorities are in poverty. Poverty breeds crime. So in order to fix crime issues, there has to be a change in poverty.

7. The majority of crimes in every race is committed by someone in the same race. Thus black on black crime/ white on white crime. So why are white people afraid of black people, when the fact is you're more likely to be killed/ assaulted/ robbed by someone that looks like you? Black people have never gone around hunting and killing white people. Never chained schools up and set them on fire. Never denied loans, made laws against, or done anything adverse to stop white people. As for mass shootings, the stats you posted count shootings by the legal definition, not the social definition. Black people don't walk into churches and stores shooting up random people because they're white. We don't go to concerts and start spraying out of a hotel window. And we certainly don't post manifesto and livestream killing dozens. Black people who shoot up crowds are almost always gangbangers fighting with gangbangers, and innocent people get caught in the crossfire. Let's not be coy and act like it's the same thing.

I agree with you on several points and I feel the same way, criminals are criminals and should be dealt with accordingly. Unfortunately that's not how America works. We should have a drink sometime.

Today I listened to at least five broadcasts of FM news radio on the liberal news station WSB radio --both their own news stories & the national news story supplied by CBS News.

They did not mention the elementary school shooter's name at any point today--- again because mentioning his name would tell America he is Hispanic, and the liberal media wants to perpetuate the propaganda that mass shootings are done by whites.

That's because some news stations have decided not to publish the murderers names any more. They don't want to contribute to the infamy and satisfying the killers need for attention. CBS has been doing that for every mass shooting. These killers are looking to be praised and idolized in the media. Take that away and they lose that power. Make their name disappear from existence.

Right Wing media spreads propaganda just like any other news source. It's not liberal media that's radicalizing mass shooters. It's Right Wing news, white supremacist websites, and hatred forums that encourage and even HELP these lunatics become killers. The Buffalo shooter highlighted many sources for his radicalization. None of them were liberal media. Many of these psychos were investigated by FBI or local LE. How many black or hispanic shooters have been tied to hate groups? Have posted their plans to kill a bunch of people? Written manifestos and spread it online?

Between 1982 and 2021, the majority of mass shootings were done by whites (68% ). Yet in 2022, so far, there's been 213 mass shootings and the perpetrator has been white 89% of the time. When you change the yearly parameters, the data changes. The DOJ changing the definition of "mass shootings" has changed the statistics. Mass Shooting stats today only account for shootings that result in 4 or more people killed by a firearm; not just injured and not killed by other means. Previously, they took into account gang and cartel shootings. So data reported for mass shootings before 2020 is much broader than data reported in 2022. Stats about mass shootings are based on legal definitions, not socially accepted definitions.

We have to consider the difference of circumstances of crimes. We all know the difference between black/ hispanic gangbangers shooting it out and a white guy murdering people in a grocery store. You don't see black men killing dozens of kids or shooting white people at Sunday service. When you hear a club got shot up, you probably think black or hispanic. But when you hear school shooting, you'd probably think white.

The US Census lies about who is white, further skewing data. People who are Israeli and Indian (among several other countries) are counted as "white" in America. If the Census was accurate, all statistics would drastically shift (crime, poverty, govt benefits, etc). Basing stats on per capita numbers is wholly inaccurate. Other countries don't categorize people by "race". That's an American thing.

Nobody disputes gang violence. Nobody disputes when some punks shoot up a club and kill innocent people. But bring up mass shootings and it's always met with "but black people ____" and "illegal immigrants ____". If people can't acknowledge we have a problem with white men shooting up innocent people, this will never change.

My previous comment was just about the guy who said names are never known when it’s Mohammed doing the shooting. That’s not true. The Ft Hood shooter was known within hours. Mass shootings typically come with a motive, manifesto, prior threats, a confession letter/ video, social media posts, or some combination of those. That’s why the names come out faster in mass shootings.

This country has a litany of ****ery going on. Mass shootings, gangs, drugs, corruption, white supremacists, the justice system, and a laundry list of other bs. But these types of posts always turn into some racist comments about “Mohammed” and “Jamal” or “Juan”. Why can’t people just stay on topic? Why can’t dirtbags just be dirtbags?

I agree, except there are groups to blame. Such as hate groups. Most mass shooters have ties to white supremacist groups or other extremist groups and even encouraged by those people to do these shootings. They should be held accountable. Anyone who encourages or aides someone else to commit murder or crimes against another, should be charged the same.

I'm sure if ISIS groups were posting about attacking Americans, the Alphabet boys would be all over it. And I'm sure if they held a rally and waved their flags, they'd be faced with a lot of Americans with guns. That same response should be applied to all hate groups.

Wow, I wrote another thesis. FreedomUSMC, I honestly appreciate your point of view and your being on the ODT. However: Bottom line up front: Statistics don't agree with your statements. We have racial and cultural problems in this country. Some whites do hate black people, and some blacks hate whites. There is fear and propaganda on both sides. FBI stats demonstrate why some white people fear and dislike blacks. News headlines showcasing blacks killed by police demonstrate why some blacks fear and dislike whites.

I'm really not looking to pick a fight, but the FBI Crime Statistics don't actually agree with you, and I'll give references below.

However, point by point:
#1. NYC (Brooklyn) Subway Shooter, like the Waukesha parade killer was black. So the press doesn't make as much hype, in regards to "hate" crimes, even when in the former, the shooter (Frank James) made anti-white (or anti anyone who's not black) videos, and in the latter case when the "driver" (Darrell Brooks) had made anti-white comments on YouTube, and used Hitler/ Nazi Memes. Ergo, they are racist and the murders could be if not should be considered hate crimes.

#2. Yes, Trump called it the Woo-flu, and his attempts to halt flights from China were excoriated as xenophobic. However, if, IF, those travel bans HAD been enacted sooner we may (MAY) have lessened the pandemic. Even a former CDC Chief has stated his belief that Covid DID come from a Chinese lab ( https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-origin-redfield-idUSKBN2BI2R6 )

Now, here's where you're probably going to get upset, and I am sorry, however, FBI crime data stats, and multiple peer-reviewed articles show that, as a portion of population, young black men are way (WAY) more over-represented in murder and rapes as the PERPETRATORS than their percentage of the population.

HATE CRIMES:

In 2019, race was reported for 6,406 known hate crime offenders. Of these offenders:

• 52.5 percent were White.
• 23.9 percent were Black or African American.
• 6.6 percent were groups made up of individuals of various races (group of multiple races).
• 1.1 percent were American Indian or Alaska Native.
• 0.9 percent (58 offenders) were Asian.
• 0.3 percent (22 offenders) were Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander.
• 14.6 percent were unknown

Among single-bias hate crime incidents in 2019, there were 4,930 victims of race/ethnicity/ancestry motivated hate crime.

• 48.5 percent were victims of crimes motivated by offenders’ anti-Black or African American bias.
• 15.7 percent were victims of anti-White bias.
• 14.1 percent were victims of anti-Hispanic or Latino bias.
• 4.4 percent were victims of anti-Asian bias.
• 3.5 percent were victims of bias against a group of individuals in which more than one race was represented (anti-multiple races, group).
• 2.7 percent were victims of anti-American Indian or Alaska Native bias.
• 2.6 percent were victims of anti-Arab bias.
• 0.5 percent (26 individuals) were victims of anti-Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander bias.
• 8.0 percent were victims of anti-Other Race/Ethnicity/Ancestry bias.

SO, the FBI says that although only 12.6% of the population is black, they make up 23.9% of known hate crime Offenders. That's twice their representation in the population. But we don't hear about that as much in the media.

We also see that there is MORE anti-black crime. Whites (by the data) do commit MORE hate crimes, and the vast MAJORITY of those crimes are against blacks.

I've added a ton of charts and data below, all from the FBI Crime Data site.

So, what do we glean from even a perfunctory purview of this unpalatable data?

First, we do have to agree that blacks, especially young black men, are more likely to be stopped by police. That alone will skew the stats. However, we see that black men between the ages of 13-34, although less than 5% percent of the total population (the US Census currently states that 12.6% consider themselves as "black", and about 26% of the US population is between 15-35 years of age), are responsible for almost half of the violent crimes in America. In fact, between those ages of 13 to 34, blacks commit more violent crimes than whites, that's in numbers, not percentages.

Interestingly, we also see that old white men are way more likely to commit murder than old black men. Seems old white men are real curmudgeons and will still kill people.

From the other point of view, if over 48% of all hate crimes are perpetrated against blacks, that is way (WAY WAY) out of line by percentage of the population. Almost half of all hate crimes are against 12.6% of the population?? Yeah, that's a problem.

"As late as 1960, when most African Americans lived under some form of segregation, 78 percent of African-American families were headed by married couples. This number steadily declined during the latter half of the 20th century.[140] (by 2002) For the first time since slavery, a majority of African-American children live in a household with only one parent, typically the mother.[141]".

Boys and young men need fathers. There are generations of boys and young me growing up without a permanent positive role model. It is more prevalent in the black community (by percentage of population) but it is not a black-only issue. Without a father, boys look for affirmation from other sources, sometimes other unfathered boys, with disastrous consequences. Boys need a Godly man to teach them how to be a Godly man.


And finally, #3. Weather Underground. Symbionese Liberation Army, etc. However, despite the 2020 report from the Center for Strategic & International Studies ( https://www.csis.org/analysis/war-comes-home-evolution-domestic-terrorism-united-states )
(oh, and don't you love their page photo highlighting a guy with a confederate flag holding an AR-15? Isn't that so provoking?)
as I was stating, despite their 2020 study detailing that Violent Far Right groups made up about 41 of the 60'ish "Terrorist Attacks and Plots" of 2020, the Economist ( https://www.economist.com/graphic-d...-plots-have-outnumbered-far-left-ones-in-2020 ) showed that if you go back to 2000 - 2007, the Far-Left (and by 2006-07, the Religious) accounted for the majority of Terrorist attacks and plots.

Need I add that the Buffalo shooter, yes, a white boy, was a leftist? Or that the case against the Michigan idiots that talked about kidnapping the governor was all propped up by FBI entrapment?

Are there whack jobs out there talking about race? Yes, and on both sides. White people may have more anti-black web sites, and black people may be more likely to say F the police. Both are wrong. But as far as genocide? That dishonor falls to the communists. From Stalin to Mao, more people have died from communism (even as they were members of communist states) than from any other purview in world history, probably including religion if you look at pure numbers and not population percentages.

The stats (as stated in my intro) are why a lot of white people fear and dislike or distrust blacks. The history of racism, discrimination and lynchings in America are why a lot of black people fear, dislike and distrust whites. Again, for almost half of all hate crimes to be committed against black people is a serious problem and a definite statistical truth.


Is there a race problem in America? Yes. Is there a cultural problem? Yes.
Do people self segregate? Yes (the Navy did an informal study on this years ago after some admiral visiting an aircraft carrier noticed that, for the most part, black and white sailors sat in groups of their own race at chow. The Navy determined it was not from overt racism, but from sailors seeking the comfort of commonality. Sailors first self segregated by race, then by area of origin {south, New England, etc.], and even further by city [Detroit, Chicago, LA, etc.]. They do it initially to find the comfort of having something in common. Later, sailors who work together are more likely to segregate in groups ).

Here's a shocker: there was a statement not long ago stating that in some poll black people believed that black teens were more likely to be killed by a police officer than in an car accident. ( https://www.manhattan-institute.org/social-construction-racism-united-states#notes ).
Even the LA Times jumped on the bandwagon by saying that black teens had a 1 in 1000 chance of being killed by a police officer ( https://www.latimes.com/science/sto...gs-are-a-leading-cause-of-death-for-black-men ). They used data from the CDC, but even their own chart says that this isn't true. 3.4 deaths out of 100K is nowhere near 1 in a 1000. But even more important, black men between the ages of 25-29 are five times more likely to die from suicide, seventeen times more likely to die from an accident, and a shocking almost thirty times more likely to die from an assault, most likely at the hands of another black man.


In closing, again, I appreciate your voice on the ODT. I appreciate your service as a Marine. On a personal note, as a platoon leader in the US Army Field Artillery my platoon was known as the "Mixed Bloods". I had whites, blacks, hispanics (one a former LA gang member), one Viet-French, and one native Hawaiian. In few months after the best platoon sergeant in the Army was rotated back to Ft. Sill to serve as an instructor I had to fire three platoon sergeants. That most stellar of all NCOs was black, and he taught me sooooo freaking much as a new LT that I honestly mourned his loss even as I celebrated his promotion. Of the three replacements I canned, two were white, one was black; they were all worthless in regards to competence, commitment, courage and character. In the end I found an excellent E6 who was hispanic, and we excelled as a platoon to the point that other young soldiers in our battalion requested to be transferred to us. My motto was, and remains, we all bleed red, no matter the color of our skin. I loved my men, and they appreciated and respected my leadership. I trusted them to do their best and they knew they could trust me to look out for them. It'd be great to see that level of camaraderie and truest on a national level. But when Joe Biden tells people that they "ain't black" if they don't vote for him, it seems insulting to me as a white person.

Blacks are over-represented among offenders in each category of aggressive crime: in homicide at a level 315% greater than their representation in the general population, in sexual assault at a level 404% as great, in aggravated assault at 274% greater than their representation in the general population. Whites and “others” are under-represented among offenders. Blacks are at highly increased risk, relative to their representation in the nation's population, for victimization in homicide and at some disadvantage (although not at a level appropriately denominated as risk in a statistical sense) for victimization in both sexual and aggravated assault. Episodes of criminal aggression initiated by white offenders account for slightly more than 73% of all single-offender episodes of aggressive crime, while episodes initiated by Black offenders account for approximately 27%, so that white-perpetrated criminal aggression exceeds Black-initiated criminal aggression at a ratio of 2.7:1. Blacks are represented among offenders in aggressive crime slightly more than twice their representation in the nation's population. It is more than five times as likely that a white victim has been set upon by a white offender than by a Black offender and nearly seven times as likely that a Black victim has been set upon by a Black offender as by a white offender. It is 32 times as likely that a white offender will victimize another white as it is that he or she will victimize a Black. But Black offenders victimize whites as frequently as they victimize other Blacks. When gender and age are considered interactively with race, it is seen that Black males in adolescence and adulthood are at astronomically enhanced risk both for homicide offending and for victimization in homicide, such that Black males aged 18-24 are at a risk level for offending nearly 28 times greater and for victimization nearly 17 times greater than their representation in the national population. Data on divergence in “choice” of victim by Black offenders not inflected by age and on the astronomical risk for homicide offending by young Black men likely anchor a phenomenology of fear among whites."

• In 2019, 69.4 percent of all individuals arrested were White, 26.6 percent were Black or African American, and 4.0 percent were of other races.
• Of arrestees for whom ethnicity was reported, 19.1 percent were Hispanic or Latino.
• Of all juveniles (persons under the age of 18) arrested in 2019, 62.5 percent were White, 33.9 percent were Black or African American, and 3.6 percent were of other races.
• Of juvenile arrestees for whom ethnicity was reported, 23.6 percent were Hispanic or Latino.
• Of all adults arrested in 2019, 69.9 percent were White, 26.1 percent were Black or African American, and 4.0 percent were of other races.
• Of adult arrestees for whom ethnicity was reported, 18.8 percent were Hispanic or Latino.
• White individuals were arrested more often for violent crimes than individuals of any other race and accounted for 59.1 percent of those arrests.
• Of adults arrested for murder, 51.3 percent were Black or African American, 45.7 percent were White, and 3.0 percent were of other races.
• White juveniles comprised 50.3 percent of all juveniles arrested for violent crimes, and Black or African American juveniles accounted for 46.4 percent of juveniles arrested for violent crimes. White juveniles comprised 54.9 percent of all juveniles arrested for property crimes.
• Of juveniles arrested for drug abuse violations, 74.8 percent were White.
• White juveniles comprised 56.4 percent of juveniles arrested for aggravated assault and 55.4 percent of juveniles arrested for larceny-theft.
