375k miles on my mustang using conventional non-synthetic every 5k miles. Engine is still running strong, here’s pics under the valve covers. Timing cover looked the same. Pics are as is when I pulled the covers.
Just change your oil regularly. If your doing 1k a year, do it every 6 months because your not heating the oil up enough to get all the moisture out.
