I figured as much. I've gotten into the AK building scene recently and knew it was similar. I need that Mill you have but wife won't go for $3500 at the moment. Looking for something a tad cheaper possible a table mill with dro.

Nice, I'm definitely in the market. Would you mind if I dropped you a PM from time to time about machinery and general machinist questions? I'm self learning and want to make as little mistakes as possible.

For the UMP you are going to need a USC upper reciever, and a H&K USC semi auto trigger group. I think you will need a USC semi auto bolt as well (not 100% sure on this one) You will basically need a USC to built it.
