The vast majority are homeless due to life choices. Drugs, alcohol, laziness, uneducated, anti-social, just plain worthless and then there are the truly mental cases and the few that have hit hard times. There have always been bums, hobos and nutcases and there always will be because a lot do not want to live a normal life and choose to stay in the gutter.
