You can bet there is opposition on this ..........like any bill that helps us law abiding citisens defend our homes an families .....

Which leads me to believe the house is just paying us lip service and not really trying to accomplish anything and in fact is wasting tax payer money and time coming up with crap that means nothing, which after all is what I suppose they really there to do.

Exactly. If I'm going on vacation with my wife, I don't have to worry about checking the marriage and drivers license reciprocity laws for every state I'm going to be going through.

Yeah I never got how some lic are honored and some are not there an angle with the proposed law I bet

Well, this definitely has the potential to screw us. Will all states be forced to adhere to the most stringent state laws? Will there be mandatory training to satisfy all states' requirements? How about states that dont issue permits or for which permits are not required?

Good idea, if implemented properly.
